What is beelining?
Beelining is the process of checking your bees for trouble.
Beekeepers often have to check their hives regularly for pests, diseases and other issues. You can beeline using an electric beeliner. This device emits a painful shock to any insects or rodents that you find in your hive. Some beekeepers use the beeliner on their own hives while others use it to check multiple hives that they are borrowing from another beekeeper. The beeliner is sometimes used as a way to scare off unwanted visitors from your apiary, such as feral swarms or birds that might invade.
